Welcome to the Cherington Arms

The origins of this quaint local pub stretch back into the late 19th or early 20th centuries when it was an Ale House. Originally two houses, Garth Cottage and Hallelujah Lodge and ales were sold from a shop in the front of the building. It became a pub where beer could be sold and consumed on the premises in about 1946.

Things have changed a little over the past 70 years but you can be assured of a warm welcome, good beer and great food in comfortable surroundings. There is a lovely garden at the rear of the pub sloping down to the river Stour. Children and dogs are made very welcome both inside and out.
